Dr. Ur Aua Khem Men Sih is the Head of State and Chief Priest of the Ausar Auset Society in Europe. This international Pan-African religious organisation, established in 1973 by Ra Un Nefer Amen I, the Shekhem Ur Shekhem of the Society, provides spiritual based training to the descendants of Africans in the Diaspora. A well-known African activist, Ur Aua Khem Men Sih was the Co-Founder and Director (circa 1985) of London's first African centred cultural organisation, The Yaa Asantewaa Centre. He is a Homeopath and Counselor who has established a holistic alternative health practice, which specializes in African centered, Chinese and western remedies for the body and spirit. The ancient healing arts of Qi Gong, acupuncture and meditation are some of the techniques he has mastered in order to manipulate the life force of patients in the healing process.

Dr. Ra Un Nefer Amen I is a world renowned, best selling author, lecturer, spiritual teacher, health practitioner and counselor. He is the Shekhem Ur Shekhem (King of Kings) and Ashem Ur Ashemu (Chief Priest) of the Ausar Auset Society International (AASI) which he founded in Harlem, NY more than 37 years ago.
In those 37 years the society has grown to an international community with branches in more than 30 cities in the USA, three cities in the UK, chapters in Canada, Ghana, South Africa, Bermuda and Trinidad and Tobago. There are also many, many individual followers, participants and well wishers from practically all over the world.
As Chief Priest, spiritual teacher and counselor of this international community, he has been extremely successful in guiding it's members towards the accomplishment of living, healthy successful lives in a truly holistic sense. Based on the ancient Kamitic spiritual teachings, he provides incomparable knowledge and guidance on the proper development of the spirit, mind and body.

The BMHHENY 2012 COMMUNITY AWARD recognizes Pan African individuals who promote awareness of health disparities among Black men as well as holistic approaches to prevention and complementary treatment options based on the spiritual teachings of the Ausarian religion of ancient Kamit- the oldest religion known to mankind. For example, Ausarian Initiation, Ra Initiation, Tree of Life Qi Gong, Qi Gong Stasis Healing Sounds, Tree of Life (Paut Neteru) Meditation System, and Bazi Success Strategies, etc.. The mission of the BMHHENY is to use these ancient spiritual teachings and traditions to restore Black men to their natural state of peace and wellness.
Nana Imhotep Gary Byrd is the award-winning host, creator, and executive producer of The Global Black Experience (GBE), the longest running Black radio broadcast in the history of New York City. His career as a multi media radio personality, spoken word recording artist,songwriter, and motivational speaker spans over 40 years. Byrd, a highly respected modern day griot, has been widely recognized and has received numerous community-based awards and honors. Among them is the prestigious Hal Jackson Award from the International Association of African American Music. He has also been inducted into the National Black Sports and Entertainment Hall of Fame, along with the legendary Frankie "Hollywood" Crocker and Byrd's brilliant musical collaborator, Stevie Wonder.
As a broadcaster of global stature, Byrd has attracted some of the most recognizable political figures, elected officials, and personalities in the world. Dr. Kokayi has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at New York Medical College since 2008. He has served as Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and as Director of their Acupuncture Unit, specializing in substance abuse treatment, over a 16-year period. He is also the former Medical Director of the Respite Foundation, a nonprofit organization focusing on complementary and alternative medicine and its applications. A former chairman of the board of the nonprofit Ifetayo Cultural Arts Facility, Dr. Kokayi produced large-scale health fairs in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, and implemented health awareness seminars to meet the growing need for preventive health awareness and practices. He subsequently invited 70 colleagues to share their expertise in a hugely successful holistic health fair he sponsored in conjunction with Baruch College (CUNY) in 2005.
Dr. Kokayi is also a member of the New York State Medical Board of Acupuncture. Kamau Kokayi, MD received his Medical Doctorate from Yale Medical School, and then completed his residency with board certification in Family Medicine. He is additionally certified in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, applied kinesiology, and homeopathy. With 25 years' experience in integrating allopathic science with bioenergetic therapies and traditional healing systems, Dr. Kokayi's broad knowledge base and depth of understanding provide him a multilayered lens through which to evaluate and treat patients suffering in body, mind, and spirit. As an integrative medical physician at Patients Medical in New York, Dr. Kokayi individualizes his protocols to the patient's needs, weaving the warp of Western medicine with the weft of Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, and African healing arts. Drawing from a diverse tool kit featuring clinical nutrition, detoxification, chelation, intravenous therapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, phytotherapy, and other modalities allows for successful management and treatment of such challenging and refractory conditions as chronic pain, chemical dependency, chronic fatigue, musculoskeletal dysfunction, obesity, chronic respiratory illness, complex allergies, gastrointestinal imbalance, emotional imbalance, environmental exposures, and autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Graves' disease and Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
